Welcome to PATH of Mount Airy, Maryland

Parents AT Home (PATH) is a community support organization for families raising children, serving Mount Airy and the surrounding area. We welcome everyone, whether you stay home with your children or work outside the home.

Membership alert: Members whose email address ends in yahoo.com or msn.com may not be receiving list messages, or may find that list messages are landing in their Spam folder. We are attempting to resolve this problem and hope to have an update here soon. You may be able to work around this by adding the list’s email address to your Contacts (address book), using the “Add” button in the Yahoo Mail web interface (or the equivalent for MSN).

Our monthly meetings, or socials, are usually the first Tuesday of every month. Interested prospective members are invited to attend up to two socials while deciding if they would like to join. Our socials feature music, games, and crafts for the kids, plus a snack (please bring your own drinks though), while the parents have a chance to visit.

Our next monthly social will be held Tuesday, July 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Watkins Park, 615 Center Street in Mount Airy. (From Route 27 southbound, take the first right after the light at Waterville Road; northbound, take the first left after the light at Park Ave./Twin Arch Road. In either case, make an immediate right into the parking area.)

Our theme this month is The Ocean. There will be a craft and snacks for the kids! Please remember to bring drinks for your family. Also meet the new (and continuing) board members! They will be wearing their purple shirts. Hope to see you there; it will be a splash!
